What is a cookie?
A cookie is a string containing information that we transfer to the hard drive of your computer, via your Internet browser, so that the site can recognize you.
Cookies can not be used to identify you personally or by name.
Typically, these contain the name of the domain from which the cookie originates, the "lifetime" of the cookie, and a value, which is usually a unique number generated randomly.
We also use other technologies such as web beacons, invisible pixels, tags or similar technologies for the same purpose.
Cookies can be used in different ways as shown below:
1st category: functionality cookies
These cookies are used by our site for some of its features. They can be used to provide you with an optimal navigation experience while browsing the site.
For example, the "clipchic_remember_me" cookie lets us know if you have checked the "Remember me" option to automatically log in if necessary.
2nd category: performance cookies
These cookies collect anonymous data about how people use the site. This data is merged with that of other users to improve the functioning of the site.
For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how users reach our site and highlight areas where we can improve. The data stored by these cookies never provide personal information that would reveal your identity.
3rd category: targeting or advertising cookies
These cookies collect information about how you navigate in order to provide you with relevant advertising content that may be of interest to you. They memorize the websites you have visited and share this information with third parties, such as advertisers.
For example, we use Google as a third party partner to provide you with customized ads when you visit other sites.
How do I manage my cookies?
You can change your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer or mobile device without your explicit consent. The help section of your browser should in principle provide you with details on how you can manage cookies. It should be noted that this setting will not prevent ad content from being displayed. The content that will be offered to you will simply be less relevant.
